The Practice has a fully equipped treatment room and two purpose built Surgical Suites. Dr Sultan is an Accredited Provider with an extensive surgical background and many years of experience.

Surgical procedures can be carried out by Dr Sultan at the Ingham Practice under Any Qualified Provider - Community Surgery Scheme (CSS). Appointments are made through reception following GPs referral.

The following surgical procedures can be carried out:

  • Vasectomy
  • Curretage of Seborrhoeic Warts
  • Excisions - Cysts, Lipomas, Skin Lesions
  • Cautery -Skin Tags, Warts, Verrucas
  • Cryotherapy- Skin Tags, Warts, Verrucas
  • Aspirations - Joints, Cysts, Ganglion, Bursa, Hydrocoele
  • Steroid Injections - Joints, Plantar Fasciitis, Tendons, Trigger finger
  • Toe Nail Surgery - Avulsion, Phenolisation, Wedge Resection
  • Incisions - Absesses
  • Foreign Body Removal
  • Implanon Removal
  • Trigger Finger
  • Carpal Tunnel Release

Appointments are available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Referrals can be made through the CSS office, direct to the Ingham Practice and soon through Choose and Book.

The Ingham Practice is proud to provide a highly professional, convenient, and patient-friendly minor surgical service, which has been well-received by service users, as evidenced by surveys, patient feedback, and complimentary comments.

Over the years, we have worked diligently to decrease waiting times, offer a convenient service to patients, alleviate pressure on secondary care, and make considerable savings for the NHS.  We have expanded our activities to include carpal tunnel procedures within our Minor Surgery services as well as more complicated orthopaedic procedures. 

Our recent Minor Surgery Audit and Survey, conducted in September 2023, indicated excellent results, with an overall score of 98.4%. These results are a testament to our commitment to providing the best possible and most convenient service for all patients.  We will continue to reflect on our services patients’ feedback to ensure ongoing improvement in our services.
